Every once in a while you get an item that isn't just mediocre or mediocre. This is a very good example of value for money that seems to be a rarity these days. High quality kit, looks good and works smoothly and accurately. Made in Taiwan, gear unit with Japanese stamp. The only problem is that the lights don't turn on until you turn off all power instead of being controlled by turning off the headlight switch. I just plugged mine in so the yellow backlight is always on. hope it lasts
