My child lost his glider in a tree. This yo-yo doesn't always come back if you throw it against a tree to get the glider back. Don't buy this if you want things made out of wood. I've been a huge Yomega fan for over 30 years. Great yoyo, not a plane catcher.

Wanted a strong auto return for beginners. Not very strong. Maybe I need more research. Kids still try to use it from time to time even after 5 months so they still have interest in it but they don't have the skills to use it. Definitely durable! I find it everywhere and have used many avenues and when it opens you just pop it back in and it's ready to go again.

I got this for my son for his birthday and I specifically chose it because it needs to sleep so easily and then automatically return. However, we are not yet able to do this. My son likes to use it to get him to just pace up and down but it doesn't do anything to get him to sleep. So I'm disappointed in this. This is completely false advertising. When I read "auto rewind" I expect yo-yos to pull themselves up. It's just a regular yo-yo that you have to pick up yourself, which is normal for adults, but I bought this for my three-year-old daughter to introduce her to auto-return yo-yos. This is not a yo-yo car return and the seller must remove the car from their ad. Not for kids, look at the photo where it's currently sitting in the extended position. Bought this for my son and played with it myself. It's a good yoyo, but not great. Spring-loaded weights (look like a pair of ball bearings) require a little more force on the first roll to push the bearings out and cause rotation and a "click". This is easy for an adult, but the yo-yo only has weights on one side, so mine tends to warp when the weight pulls on one side.
