I have 2 houses and have replaced ALL the door handles and hinges in both - oh. since several months! :-) The transformation of both houses is indescribable. As others have said, switching from old shiny brass round knobs to brushed nickel levers is an instant facelift for your entire home. The price-performance ratio of these 6 door handle packages is simply unbeatable. Installation is easy if you have it at all on hand. In my case, the wood on my doors came preconfigured for "rounded" latches and the like, and they're all square, but that's solved in about 3 minutes by knocking on wood - no exaggeration - 3 minutes. or less, and a rounded slit corresponds to a square slit. I have already bought and installed over 35 of these door handles. Did I mention I did it in two houses! Damn, now I can change 3 loops in 5 minutes - maybe I'll have a new career path. Of course I can't tell you they will last 15 years as I only installed them this year but they definitely seem to be of very good quality. CUSTOMER SERVICE NOTICE: I had a problem with one of over 35 doorknobs and when I called customer service (around 5:15pm) a real person answered the phone! Jason and I chatted for at least 15 minutes while he helped me through the debugging process and told me via USPS Priority Mail that he had the right part for me.
