The main reason for this indicator was a bluetooth speaker. I have a JBL Megaboom Bluetooth speaker that I usually use for music in the shower. Trouble is, I also wear it outside to the hot tub and workout garage. I didn't need a great sound as the water would drown out the sound anyway. The speaker didn't disappoint with the lack of great sound. The problem is that the Bluetooth connection always has connection problems. First it gets connected and then it says it's not connected. I've tried breaking and re-adding the pair, but the same problem occurs. I can turn the light on and off and reconnect, but now I'm in light-to-music sync mode. The light works well but it's disappointing that it can't be controlled via Bluetooth. You can only change the colors by turning the light switch off and on again. I like the color of daylight and this light works well for that. Installation is straightforward, but the base is not designed to mount to a standard overhead control box. I will be looking for another speaker backlight to replace due to bluetooth connection issue.
