This was used, with success for nickle copper break lines. I made the conversion over to prevent rustout that happens here in the northeast. I am happy to say it works. Make sure you get the right kit for your car, some investigation is often needed. For my 96 subaru, single flare is what I needed, but I was unable to use this to upgrade our saturn ion, as that used a double flare. The double flare is just taking the same flare method with different tools though.Nicop is easy to work with. It's softer than stainless steel lines, but does not have flex, nor did it change the break feel after the work was complete. It's not even that nicop wont oxidized, it just will do so at a incredibly slower rate than steel. The same can be said of stainless steel though which uses chromium and nickle to prevent oxidization. But copper is in the platinum group due to it's non-reactive nature. The nickle is there to harden the copper. While I did spend more time talking about nicop, I do have to state, that this works very well with it.
