I had to write a review simply because of all the negative reviews from people who just can't read the instructions and end up abusing the product. I've had great success with these bags so far. These pouches are NOT designed for use in an actual coffee maker. All you need is a cheap gallon sized plastic jug. 1) Put about 3 cups of coffee grounds in the bag 2) Place it in the jug 3) Fill the bag with water and first soak the ground coffee before binding it. 4) Fill the rest of the pitcher with water. 5) Leave it overnight and then squeeze the pack to get more power out of the ground. This method produces a fairly concentrated coffee that I have to water down. By using gallon sized bags in this method, we get a gallon of cold drink that can be enjoyed for a week. Hope that helps!
