I bought this monitor during the Prime Day sale. As already mentioned, built-in speakers are hot junk. In fact, for now, I prefer to just route audio through my laptop. With the money you save doing this, you can easily get yourself a pair of external speakers. I wouldn't say that makes the momentum a deal breaker. I can't comment on the gaming aspect of the monitor as I haven't used it for that purpose, but I think it offers average performance for the price. Keep in mind that you must use a DP cable to get the maximum specs listed in the details.
