I'm 5'7", 135 lbs. In most clothes, I wear a medium or a size 8 - 10 and I ended up preferring the Large in the slip. I originally ordered the Medium. I couldn't get it on over my head, so had to go the other way and step into it to pull it up over my hips. It was quite hard but I could do it. It was really (really) holding me in. I ended up ordering a Large to try it out for size. I found the Large to be supportive but not so constrictive, so I kept that one and returned the Medium. Bottom line - depending on how tight you want the slip, you may want to size up. Hope this is helpful.
