Not recommended for cheap devices. White Fog.

Edit: Well now EVERYTHING in my house, in every room, is shrouded in white fog. I ran out of distilled water (1.25 gallons only lasts me through the night and morning) so I used natural spring water and now I need to white mist EVERYTHING in my house. The device itself is still great, top loading is very easy, but my old humidifier, which I bought at the drugstore for half the (retail) price of this device, could use ANY water: hard water, drinking water (Britta ) or spring water. /o some white mist. Decreased from 4 stars to 2 stars for white mist and expensive (must buy 4 gallons of distilled water every 3 days). Exactly what I was looking for to replace some of the cheap models I've bought in the past that lapsed after a year and required constant cleaning and didn't reach nearly the same length as this model and I had to always have a towel underneath... and also wherever water mist fell because it wasn't a fine mist. -1 star for "white snow". ' Effect. The first half of the water tank worked well, then the rest of the tank gave the effect of white snow. I think I need to buy demineralized water. It's big enough with a spout to not leave wet stains as the mist is very fine and the guide tool gets it right where I want it. The first humidifier I had had electric options to fine-tune not only the amount of mist coming out, but also the humidity level (which has since gone from 24% to 36% and hopefully more when I got it in its last place (I put it in the bathroom in case of a leak or fog, like in previous cheap devices). I didn't wake up with a bloody nose or a very dry mouth like I usually do. , blankets and pajamas no longer have static electricity in/on them. I'm reluctant to buy demineralized or distilled water because it only makes this device more expensive (I don't know why my block of charcoal and granular drinking water produces a white snow effect) but the benefits just outweigh the cost 1 night he was with me, especially as summer is approaching and the air conditioning just dries everything out (especially the sinuses and mouth). don't make the water a true mist, but heavier water that creates puddles of water like my old devices did.
