No kidding - these wipes clean like a scouring pad, NO scratches! With very very little grease on the elbows, it removes baked or burnt food/sugar, dries FAST and ends up NOT SMELLING like a sponge and they are very easy to clean as you can throw them in the dishwasher OR washing machine. I really had to get used to the feel of the hand which means it doesn't have the fullness of a sponge so you have to take a lot of care with how you clean a knife or other pointed/sharp object. Don't rush when cleaning the fork, otherwise the teeth could get stuck in the hole. Or a knife if you accidentally cut holes. This wasn't a problem for me at all as I was observant. I will NEVER use a sponge again. Goodbye forever! Update February 2018: I've been using this product for over a year and just recently bought another pair. I meant: farewell to ordinary sponges! These things still work great and never smell. I should also add that I use them almost every day, multiple times a day because my family has breakfast at home, we pack our lunches in reusable grocery containers, I cook dinner almost every night, and bake several times a week. So these guys are getting very used to it.
