I ordered this docking station for my work laptop just over a month ago. Out of the box it worked great. I have two monitors connected, one via HDMI and the other via DP. A USB switch is also connected to it, which includes a keyboard, mouse and headset. Everything went smoothly again until a few days passed. It seems that even after docking and undocking the laptop many times, the dock just doesn't recognize that it's a connected laptop. When I check the laptop it says it is on but not charging and none of the input devices are working nor is anything showing on my monitors. I even unplugged and plugged everything back in, but still nothing. I agree with many that the docking station's point is its increased efficiency and reliability. However, I spend far too much time troubleshooting and the fact that you have to literally align and position the laptop perfectly for the dock to recognize it is too time consuming and frustrating. I really miss the old Lenovo docking stations.
