You should be aware that this requires a 5/8" (specified) hole; This is an unconventional size for hole saws. Resist the temptation to "too". use what you have (3/4") and cut a larger hole than specified (as some recommend), especially if it's a live well, and I don't recommend using a shovel if you value that Laying down your gel coat.. I ended up spending more on a hole saw than a light!I always coat the inside of the raw hole with 4200 fiberglass and use a small amount on the side of the bolt to caulk, but be careful to only hand tighten , otherwise knock out the silicone gasket. The result is impressive; it's a BRIGHT light! Before/after pictures during the day (Everglades 243, 36-Gaul live well) Extremely bright at night!
