So. This is almost a difficult point to verify. (I've been using cloth shields for about 3-4 years) Ha. I use it, but nothing gets cleaner and brighter after washing. What I can say is that if I stop using it, the skin irritations that made me look for this product will gradually return. I firmly believe that adding it to the rinse cycle (especially with shirts, sheets, and towels) resulted in a significant reduction in skin irritation and seemingly random breakouts. Oh it seems to get rid of the musty smell from the towels too. (I live in Houston). If you're looking for a remedy for skin irritation that doesn't appear to be caused by diet, season, or infection, I would heartily recommend this.
