This is a great solution to an annoying problem. I really love this device and now when I watch TV I absolutely need it. I've always hated commercials and just don't want to hear them. Now I enjoy little quiet breaks when commercials are on and I love it. At the beginning of a commercial break, just press the big button 8 times. This will mute the TV for 240 seconds (4 minutes), which is about the duration of most commercial breaks. In most cases, the timer turns on the TV sound as soon as the program I'm watching starts again. I'm spared listening to annoying hip-hop or political campaigns. I will buy another.
