I use it for winter photos. In Antarctica I combined them with silk gloves. It was summer in Antarctica, but it wasn't hot. This system worked great. I also used them to photograph the Northern Lights in the Northwest Territories last fall (no silk gloves, sorry). It was windy and cold. These gloves helped. It would be better to have liners. My mother had these. She was old (she died last January at the age of 100). She used them to keep her hands warm around the house. It did her good.
