Comes in a nice case. Mix the buffer solution. Insert the meter while pressing the initial calibration button and you're done. There is no secret here. I've had mine for almost 6 months now and have used it about a dozen times with no problems. I think most people who complain about "lack of auto calibration" are confusing it with "ATC" or automatic temperature compensation, which is the main reason for this unit's value for money. It provides temperature-compensated sample readings from 32-176°F, eliminating the need to take a sample and bring it to test temperature in most cases. Simply measure directly at the source, read, rinse, dry and put back in the case. For less than $20, it works great for me.
