stools are good. They were easy to put together, each only taking about 5 minutes. It is also comfortable for an average sized person to sit in. If you are on the larger side I would say no. The seat is smaller than I expected but suitable for our family. With the smaller imprint I also had to make sure that it is not leather. They are also a lot more brown as they appear black in the picture and the description says they are black. They are actually mottled brown-black. I ordered these chairs 3 times on sale and never received the order. Finally paid full price for the 4th order and for it a few weeks after numerous phone calls and emails over a 3 month period. I feel like I was tricked into paying more for the chairs than the advertised price. Some kind of bait and switch. not legal but it happens.
