Good quality for money.

Good: Portable. Built-in lighting works very well with 50 and 20 magnification lenses. Leading LED lights are matched with quality thumbscrews and an end wrench. screw on immediately. Features an adjustable detent to prevent focusing too close (where the lens would otherwise hit the ground). Good case with foam padding for all parts (flashlight, 2 spare eyepieces, flashlight, lamp holder, socket wrench (to attach flashlight). No proper heading. Must unscrew and reattach lens, no turret to toggle No clamps to hold standard 1x4 Slides, you need round pieces of glass to allow the slide to fit the 2" (inside diameter) but in my experience this isn't necessary as mounting the scope on a regular 1x4 slide is only possible by tilting the scope down a bit front, a little, and this represents a significant impact on the image or the stability of the scope, this tilt is due to the fact that the flashlight has weight, the metal does not touch the glass, the size of the glass panel is only about 0.050 inch, which is only half the distance between 1/32 inch and 1/16 inch. Thus, the Stei be very small. The scope is strong and stable (scope is heavy) and the image is steady, not shaky. The light is a bit dim at max power (100x), plenty of light for 20 and 50. The latch on the outside of the bag is dim. I use a #170 rubber band. Instead, the 2 unmounted lenses are stored in excellent storage bottles that have threads to screw in the lenses. And the screw on the lid closes everything: no dust.-----A standard headlamp or a portable LED flashlight with 100 units of power comes in handy. And there will be good light even if you hold it in your hand. If you're using another (second) LED flashlight, a pair of wooden clothespins will do for a nifty stand to hold it. This frees both hands to draw pictures (for example) for the notebook of what you are watching. he as a faint click. #104 size gum is very convenient for a million uses around the home. Revain sells them cheap. I use a couple of pockets (like a standard size sandwich zipper) and small rubber bands (#82 or #62) to enclose the case and eyepieces (dust cover). And another pocket (2 gallon size) with zipper to cover the whole storage box. I doubt you'll find another wearable of the same quality at a price close to this. It's not professional quality, but decent for a layman. Particularly good optics.
