The rope seems good and as advertised but takes some effort to spool. The free end is firmly welded to the rest of the coil. It's not just the coil next to the end, it's also a few coils underneath. This means there is a spot about 30-40 feet from the coil where the outer shell is badly damaged. So if you want a longer continuous usable length, you will have to exceed this length with a lot of rope effort. Update: The melted end came out more clearly than I expected. All lengths must be correct. Although, of course, I cannot say that this will always be the case.
