Review on 🤲 DonJoy UltraSling IV: Enhancing Shoulder Support and Comfort by Charlie Wilson

The sling turned out to be MUCH better than the one they gave me after surgery. Adding a strap under the armpit of the opposite arm is incredibly helpful. The buckle system is much easier to put on and take off than the simple double velcro system of the included sling, which made a big difference as the frequency of putting on and taking off the sling increased. My only criticism of the design is that after some wear and tear the forearm has tipped down, the arm has tipped down and the shoulder feels a little less supported than I would like. I played around with the straps and tried to position my forearm more horizontally, but all I got from that was more strap pressure from all sides. This resulted in the front strap having to be repeatedly pulled up to adjust the position of the forearm. All in all I think it was a good purchase and it definitely made a difference in terms of comfort, which is very important considering you already have some discomfort from the surgery. The contoured foam padding on this brace was much better than the included padding stone. Protects your ribs and organs from abuse. It was also pleasant to sleep with him. I found it to be more cushioned overall (straps, pillows etc) and the distributed pressure of this design saved my throat I think. I would recommend it.
