Well, at first they were perfect. (I loved my first one so much I ordered a few more.) They had the right sheen, were very comfortable and looked great with the charms I paired them with. But after about 3 weeks I threw them away. I am a teacher and when we went to school we had a fever. And a misty drizzle hung in the air. I'm not one to sweat a lot, but due to the extreme heat and humidity and the lack of air conditioning at school, even I was drenched in sweat. On the first day I wore the perfect outfit including a new necklace. I greeted my new third graders, parents and administrators, unaware that my throat was completely black until I managed to go to the bathroom! Talk about humiliation! This has never happened to me, not even with the jewelry I bought at Kohls or TJ Max etc. I don't know if it was rain, heat, sweat, but I threw it away because I didn't want to risk it. again. I think it was my fault for expecting a $10 chain to be great. I won't be returning it as I didn't keep the packaging. If you plan to buy them, be careful not to wear them to an important event. To update. Well, I was very surprised to receive a package in the mail today. I ordered and received these necklaces over six months ago! After reading my review I received a box today with a beautiful apology letter and FIVE new chains. Apologies aside, the letter gave me a lot of useful information on how to care for silver and jewelry in general. I am so impressed with the customer service and sincere apologies that I will try again and gift to friends :) Maybe it was an accident on my part or a combination of circumstances. Try it!
