This is quite a dainty set but when you receive it there are stucco lines on the lips which reduces the size. I had to take a diamond stone and work the jaws down to zero as best I could. After that, they're actually pretty accurate. I would pay $5 more for A higher quality wrench type caliper and I'm sure I'll use it crazy for projects that don't require extreme precision (less than half a mm). Because of the usefulness I really want to give 5 stars!
