The assembly of this chair was very easy and well thought out - imagine having washer already on the bolts and the cheapo allen wrench being big enough to actually put torque on it - crazy concepts!The chair itself is pretty comfortable but unfortunately the base is not that wide - the edges of the bottom cushion are padded wood so your thighs are actually constricted by the base. If you are not that wide of a person this probably helps the fit but for me (and anybody that's heavier) it's a nuisance at best. The chair materials seems nice and it looks good. I appreciate the tall back since I am 6-3 but if I was any wider the chair wouldn't work for me.I could live with the above but the deal breaker for me is that there is a very loud CLICK whenever I lean forward or backward in the chair. I have tightened and loosened every bolt with no success in eliminating the noise. I believe it is somewhere in the gas cylinder and how the chair rests on it. It is reproducible EVERY time (even when locked in the upright position) and loud enough that it is heard throughout the entire house.I have rated this as 2 stars for now - if I can work with the seller or manufacturer to correct this issue I'll update accordingly - but otherwise this chair is likely heading back.UPDATE: A new part resolved the clicking noise but unfortunately this chair is too narrow to be comfortable for a prolonged period so I will be seeking a refund. It is good for smaller people though.
