Cat Approved! The ultimate expert in cozy warmth, my cat picks up this heating pad with both paws! The three temperature settings are excellent. The black color didn't match my desk which is mostly white. Simple solution, I bought a cheap IKEA table cushion (in white) which is a bit larger than a heating pad. Put it on top. Attached with thin double-sided tape. I also made a cut out in the IKEA rug for the heater control module using a sharp blade and some patience. While I'm glad Kore (my cat) loves this product, I can also say that it completely exceeds my expectations in terms of build quality, materials, heat dissipation, and thermal management. I recommend this product without hesitation. Note: I know that installing a different gasket over this one is most likely not recommended by the manufacturer. I can only say that I have been using it daily for more than six months without any problems. Common sense tells you to just turn it off when you leave your room. I don't often write reviews.
