Review on High-Quality 12 Pack of 606 2RS Ball Bearings for Industrial Use by Pius Aponte

Just received these bearings, the packaging was damaged, obviously it was in the box as the damage is under the label and sealed with tape. Not a problem for me, but worth mentioning. Pros: I decided to test them out on a 3D printed spinner to see how well they hold up. They are heavy, well suited for this application, but for some this can be a problem. .They are solid, they wobble very little and they are very quiet. (You might be able to use them in class without your roommate knowing.) Cons They have a lot of friction though. So high you can't scroll them with one finger. I have some 3D printed 608 bearings (so they are all plastic and not very accurate). I compared them to them and they worked just like 3D printed bearings, no oil and no breakage. Conclusion. These bearings are good when you need strong and stable support. Bearings for precise movement. However, they are not suitable for high-speed applications such as commercials or spinners, they simply have too much friction. Please do not test them in a high speed powered application as they may perform better at higher temperatures as it appears the friction is related to the type of internal lubricant used. If anyone can test them in such a scenario please let me know.
