Agree my dog looks miserable here but he's gotten used to it since then! He's about 40 pounds. (but he is small) and his body is about the size of a golden retriever or a small german shepherd, I am an XL size and he is a bit baggy but I think a size L would be too tight for him . So if you have a large dog, XL might be the right size for you. It's soft, fits well, is quite stretchy, long enough to cover his bum and cut decently on his stomach so he doesn't "splatter" himself when he does his own thing. I love this sweater, it's perfect!
