I found this chair very comfortable. I use it to play my saxophones and clarinet. It is easy to adjust and fits me exactly to the height of my music stand. I didn't find any issues like bad welds on my chair and have inspected it thoroughly. Welds are all protected. The seat is firm but not so hard that it's uncomfortable, at least for me as I'm a tall person. It's quick to put together, just 5 reel inserts and 4 screws for the seat and an Allen key to tighten the screws. The wheels roll effortlessly across my hardwood vinyl studio floor. All in all, this is a good buy.
