Installation: Same as other "universal" seat covers. A few belts and all. Not as comfortable or "custom" for the 2001 Tahoe as advertised. Plenty of extra material keeps it loose and shifting as you get in and out of the car. Comfort: They are breathable and slightly stiff. However, they are new and I'm sure they will soften over time. In the Texas heat, breathable seats are a must. The result is a sweaty bottom and back. Value: For the price, they're great value if you don't care about looks and don't live in hot Texas or similar areas. The general rule is: I remove the one I installed and send the kit back. Given the time it took to check, ship, and install, I should have gone with the more expensive option.
