I am very happy with my purchase simply because it is so darn cute! I mean she's gonna be a ladybug! My dog is six months old and still a bit thin so there is a slight overlap under the velcro but it still works. The hood actually works for her and helps keep her head dry (unlike my other dogs where he makes it so she can't see anything). However, it does not protect its lower part, so it gets wet in heavy rain. The material is not too thin and not thick, about as thick as a normal raincoat. It doubles as a Halloween costume. Either way, if you want your dog to be incredibly cute and stay nice and dry, I recommend this coat.
