Instead of the 4 sizes shown they sent me 4 containers with lids but two were about 600ml and the other two about a liter. The two smaller silicone seals stuck to the glass and broke off a bit. So I had to empty them, scrape off the silicone stuck to the glass and refill them. Let's see if it happens again. I smeared the gaskets with some olive oil but I don't expect it to last long. The gaskets just sit in a groove and fall out when I have to remove the covers. Easy reinstall but not what I expected. The lids are untreated bamboo with no sealing, so the fibers swell and protrude when first wet, requiring sanding and sealing before sale. When I end up leaving the set, I'll do it myself. The containers themselves are heavy glass and I hope they are strong enough. Update: I wet the sand and sealed the lids so food doesn't contaminate the bamboo as easily. In doing so, I found a small skewer-like stick that was glued into the groove that runs around the lid to seal it. This made the seal proud and did not seal the container. All in all I have probably about 45 minutes to fix a product that should have come with better quality control and properly closed lids. One star deducted for that.
