I go to the gym about 3-4 times a week and struggle with muscle aches and cramps, even though I drink lots of water. Pain is to be expected, but cramps are painful, which is why I considered getting a massage gun after seeing NBA players use them on the bench. I chose this massage gun because of the six different attachments and the wide range of massage intensities (0-30). The massage gun is great for relaxing my muscles and while I was able to get to the highest intensity fairly quickly, the lower settings are fine once I get used to the massage gun. It's also surprisingly quiet. At first I was hesitant to spend that kind of money on a massage gun, but it was worth the investment as my recovery time has never been faster. Definitely better than ice baths which are very uncomfortable. I carry a massage gun with me after the gym and basketball games and it works great.
