I was looking for an inexpensive filter for my HP work laptop that would filter out UV and blue light. My company switched to remote work due to the pandemic, so I wanted to be able to work outdoors without the awful bright lights. I was looking forward to using 3M swap tabs and am disappointed with that option and the adhesive. These just don't work for me, the screen keeps slipping and I went through almost all of them while using them. I gave up and went for double-sided adhesive tabs. I ended up cutting them in half and placing them vertically so they wouldn't irritate my eyes. The matte side is durable and does not glare. The screen itself is fairly dim indoors at 100% brightness (which drains the battery) and even with low window lighting. I don't care about the darkness/privacy aspect of the filter, but it was difficult to find one with my other requirements above. Part of my work is design and photography, so I probably won't be editing without my desktop monitor. Aside from being over the top, detachable tabs should be fine for most people, which is what you need (based on the description). Overall I think it will serve its purpose for working outdoors and being easy on my eyes, but for now I'm looking for something with all the features without the dark screen.
