Review on πŸ”¦ EATON 7737V-BOX Patrol Night Light - High Lumens LED Lamp, Wall Mount Design, Ivory Finish by Beth Wagner

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not as advertised Suitable for lamps and ceiling fans

Benefits The wall mounted night light is both stylish and useful. Not much on the market. The cons unit is pictured and sold with a front panel. But none are included. They are tricked by Revane and then have to find the matching color bezel in the home hub. Doesn't cost much except your time. I installed five units of an older Cooper LED night light 5 years ago. Two LEDs each. After around 15,000 to 20,000 operating hours, two devices, each with one LED, failed. I now expect these units to last 25% of their promised lifespan but will continue to use them as they fit and look stylish. Unlike older devices, these new devices need to be "programmed" somewhat. It's one of those "push-and-hold" arrangements in various combinations. Confusing. Result uncertain every time - A new block can be programmed how bright it should be. It would be MUCH better if it could be programmed to react to ambient light, causing the light to turn on and off. The connection scheme is different from the previous one. The predecessor had wires, but this one only had terminals. Important warning. Covering the eye with a finger or even tape will not activate the light for testing purposes. I do not know why. It takes a piece of thick black tape over the eye to turn on the light for the test. If you don't, the light will appear out of order. Also, the light doesn't turn on and off instantly. Wait for the delay to end.
