Our kittens sleep in it every night. Both cats likely weigh between 12 and 15 pounds and are a perfect match. The floor isn't as soft as I expected, but the cats don't seem to mind. The little handles on the underside keep the beds from sliding, but they also leave marks on the hardwood floors (don't panic, that takes some elbow grease). They collect cat hair and I haven't washed them yet. (I only vacuum them for now). I will update if they don't hold up well.
