Also works great with docking stations, but audio is interrupted
Pros: - Maintains my monitor resolution of 3340 x 1440 over HDMI even at >100Hz - Works with the Belkin Thunderbolt Dock's DisplayPort output and the monitor's HDMI inputs Cons: - HDMI audio is choppy and broken . I've verified that using a direct displayport from a docking station doesn't have this issue, and direct HDMI from a source doesn't have an issue either. Conclusion: This works great if you don't worry about the sound! Is it possible that the bandwidth required to process high definition video and the PLUS audio refresh rate is too high? I am not sure.
- Ideal for use with Thunderbolt 3 docking stations for DP to HDMI 2.0 conversion. Most Thunderbolt 3 docking stations with DisplayPort require an active adapter.
