Review on πŸ–₯️ AOPEN 16PM6Q Bmiux 15.6" Portable Full HD Monitor, 1920x1080 Resolution, 60Hz Refresh Rate, IPS Panel by Michael Lund

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great base, but color accuracy issues make it unsuitable for Photoshop.

I've tested several portable monitors in the past and all, without exception, came with a foldable stand/lid, like most tablets with screen covers that fold down into a semi-circular cover. - a strong triangle to lean a tablet on. This one is different. Instead of a flexible cover, it comes with a fairly sturdy short base that can be adjusted to change viewing angles. The advantage of this base is that it contains all ports and buttons, so you don't have to fiddle with adjustments like most external monitors with the side screen buttons (which almost inevitably require you to press your thumb down on the screen to exit it) . a dirty fingerprint). It's a nice touch, and I particularly like the soft case that came with it to make up for the loss of the built-in lid. As mentioned earlier, the color accuracy of this screen isn't exactly the best in the world. It has red issues, although honestly it's a lot more obvious in testing than it is in normal use. If I were watching a movie on my laptop and mirroring it to an external screen it would be pretty obvious, but if I'm just looking at the external screen the inaccuracy isn't so great that it would distract me from the action. Ultimately, I would recommend this screen to anyone who doesn't need it for graphics work (or gaming, since the 60Hz refresh rate is too low for serious gamers). I wouldn't want to use it for Photoshop work where accurate color reproduction is important, but I'll happily use it for both office work and as a standalone screen for Netflix/YouTube while pretending to get my work done on my laptop.
