Update: This lamp broke after 11 months. I downgraded my rating to 2 stars because I think this lamp should have lasted longer. This lamp is stable, the clamp is strong, it's easy to move and hold in place. The light isn't the brightest I've seen, but it's good enough for working on a desk. The magnifying glass is clear, undistorted and works well. The three colors are great, the brightness dims smoothly rather than in stages, and the wired controller and the fact that it's USB powered are bonuses for me. It also looks good if that's your style. The legs are shorter than a full size lamp of this type, so this can be important if you have a very large desk. I am very happy with this lamp.
