Melted 2 of my 12v sockets
The plug worked fine for a few days until it melted 2 of my car's 12v sockets. At first I thought my car fuse had blown, it was the outlet. Why ? The end of the tip that touches the bushing was very loose (not spring loaded). I assumed it would generate some spikes (i.e. heat up) by constantly switching to on/off contact with the outlet. Unfortunately I cannot return the product as I cut the wire in half for my project.
