Review on πŸ“½οΈ Epson PowerLite 1785W 3LCD WXGA Wireless Mobile Projector with Carrying Case and Convenient Image Adjustments: A Bright and Fully Equipped Solution for Presentations and Wireless Video Streaming by Nick Walsh

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I bought 3 pieces for professional use, I will use all the time.

Expensive, excellent picture and very bright. The combination of over 3000 lumens of brightness and WXGA in a very light device makes it my first choice. I have compared many projectors and this is my favorite travel projector. Yes, more so than those mini projectors, but I can project in well-lit rooms and still have enough brightness where those cheap mini projectors would be almost invisible on the screen. Widely used for travel and presentation, good resolution for photo/video and excellent for auto focus. I very rarely have to adjust anything unless I'm in a bad room with steep corners and a bad projection screen. Still, it's pretty close to screen alignment itself. The automatic adjustment is somewhat sensitive to movements, e.g. B. when someone hits the table hard enough. He will sense the change and adjust, which is sometimes distracting. The remote control is effective. This allows USB as a video connection, but in my experience it was unacceptably slow and also caused stuttering in my video/audio output. (Windows 8 Pro, 2016 Lenovo Laptop.) I switched back to HDMI and all the problems stopped. One thing to keep in mind is that you might have mixed results with Epson if it needs to be fixed. With a previous projector (same model) I had to check my bag on the plane and found when I received it later that the corner of the projector where the leveling foot is is torn. Epson sent me to an authorized repair center who couldn't fix the problem because Epson didn't supply those parts. The projector works fine, the adjustment foot just stopped working. A good example of how tough this is, I think it still works after a good hit, but I'd like to have some sort of repair option other than fixing the epoxy by hand.
