and the auto image adjustment feature is great.

You get what you pay for and we learned that the hard way. Bought one of the $160 units from another manufacturer and disappointed our entire off-site group. He pulled the trigger of this device and stunned everyone. It's bright, clearer than many of the devices deployed in the room, and the auto image adjustment feature is great.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Not bad

Good but not great for video projectors

It's small and suitable for my purpose. But it's noisy like you notice the fan all the time when it's on. It's also not as bright as I'd like it to be. But it handles auto keystone correction very well and it's a short throw. So if you have space or weight issues, this will likely work for you. The only downside is that the remote is still IR so you have to point it directly at it.

  • Good product for the price

On my first use, the projector overheated and shut down.

Customer service sent a replacement bulb which fixed the overheating issue. Great option. The projector has EXCELLENT picture and EXCELLENT quality. The size is GREAT. Unfortunately for my first presentation, I'm a professional speaker, after about an hour of use it completely shut down. Not only did this cause a problem, it also cost me $200 as I had to use the hotel's backup projector and the hotel fee is outrageously high. I called tech support, they helped, but they just asked me to waitโ€ฆ

When I bought this projector at the advertised price I thought I was getting a projector that could do it all. Wrong I think. Great picture, intuitive when you plug something in and love the auto keystone correction. However. If you want to watch and listen to it, don't buy it. I've read most of the manual, plugged in multiple audio sources, and nothing happens. I assume you can only feed in audio to use the speakers. Too bad. I would return it but my window seems to have just closed even whenโ€ฆ

This is a magic projector! Look Ma, you don't need hands to install!

Wow! My husband advised me to spend the money and buy a good quality projector. I used it for the first time today and I have to say my husband was right. I downloaded the USB executable and ran it. All I had to do was connect my laptop to the projector, turn both on and go. The projector automatically detected the screen, adjusted the screen size, adjusted the keystone distortion and waited for me to start my presentation. No more worrying about AV and if it will work on my next workoutโ€ฆ

Excellent picture quality but poor sound

This is a good choice for those who travel and give presentations as it is very light and compact. Image quality is excellent and there is enough light to work well even in a room with little ambient light. It's also easy to set up and connects to a laptop via USB, VGA and wireless. The wireless network function also allows you to connect your mobile device or tablet. My only gripe is that it gets a bit warm and its fan is pretty noisy. Also, the audio output is absolutely muffled, and even inโ€ฆ

I bought 3 pieces for professional use, I will use all the time.

Expensive, excellent picture and very bright. The combination of over 3000 lumens of brightness and WXGA in a very light device makes it my first choice. I have compared many projectors and this is my favorite travel projector. Yes, more so than those mini projectors, but I can project in well-lit rooms and still have enough brightness where those cheap mini projectors would be almost invisible on the screen. Widely used for travel and presentation, good resolution for photo/video and excellent

Pros
  • Few competitors

Doesn't work well enough for the price

UPDATE 08.20. I just spent 1 hour with Epson support to hear "wireless connection not guaranteed" "you tried another computer". I've attached a video stream through the projector, the audio and video on my computer are in perfect sync. I'm a consultant and professional trainer and I'm constantly looking for the perfect combination of presentation. I am using Surface Pro (latest version) with I7, 16GB RAM and 500GB storage. I have 3 Epson projectors: 9200, 1751 and now 1795F. All 3 have a decent
