OK, so I'm a sentimental old man. My daughter and at least one of my nieces have weddings, and sort of taking a twist on the old British custom of "Sixpence in her shoe", I'm giving each two special coins. Won't say what they are (might spoil the surprise), but will say they tie into family history and heritage. As they are a bit bigger than a Sixpence, got these Silk Pocket Squares (ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! Wonderfully brilliant colors, very well made. Not something to blow your nose on, but very fashionable "flair" for a gentleman to wear.or to wrap a Bride's Coins!); picked out the ones that had the most "blue" and matched each girl's personality.and seeing as I have 3 younger nieces yet, went ahead and picked others for their coins in case something happens to me before their big days. So they'll have something old, something new (the tradition, the coins), something borrowed, and something blue (the silks for both - teasing the girls and telling them they're on loan). Already had my niece's wedding.don't know who cried more, her or her dad.
