I was concerned that the pieces would be really small but they are all a decent size and have good strength for kid play. Having so many marbles included makes it a lot more fun as they can just continue feeding them one after another but of course, they all like the LED lights the best. Depending on how you build the run, it is a bit unstable in the taller configurations but as long as it doesn't get bumped, it stays together well. The pieces all fit together and stay together pretty well. The instructions are just a series of pictures of different configurations and it's difficult to see exactly how to build the different runs by looking at them because the pictures are small. Otherwise, this toy is a definite kid pleaser.
