I bought this for my 1999 Lexus ES300. I took it to a locksmith to have the key cut to match my existing key which cost $45. I successfully programmed the immobilizer into my car's security system and was able to start the car with the new key. I was then able to put the car into programming mode to receive a signal from the key fob. It did not work. After many attempts and then many emails, the seller informed me that my car's FCC ID was different from this key and it would not work. They offered me a refund but only if I pay for the return shipping and they don't want to reimburse me for the cost of making the keys. They said it was my responsibility to check the FCC ID even though the Revain install manual says it will fit my car. I wasted my money, a lot of time and frustration. Look for the key section in the owner's manual and you will see a box with the FCC Identification Number for your vehicle. Most likely you will find that it does not match the description for that key.
