I gave my father my high back office chair as a gift so I was looking for something similar. Although not that tall, it's a very good chair at a great price. And also thanks to all the reviewers who led me to this chair. The chair itself arrived well packaged. box in a box. Unpacking takes just as long as assembly. With 12 hexagonal screws. Four below and eight on the sides. The chair is therefore ready for use after approx. 30 minutes. Just remember that you can't tighten everything until the chair is fully assembled. The size of the chair is perfect for me. I'm 6ft 195lbs and the chair works great for me. The chair has two controls. One of them is the handle of the chairlift. that adjust the height of the chair. The other is a knob under the chair that adjusts the chair's back tension. Or more simply, how hard the chair is when lying on your stomach. This chair does not recline, but rather reclines about 1/4. just so you know The seat back is approximately 24 inches high and the seat bottom is approximately 17 inches. The color is deep rich brown. Very nice chair, quite expensive for the price. And while it's not too soft, it's very comfortable to sit in. For me it was good value for money. And a recommended product if you are looking for a nice, stylish office chair. It also feels very durable. Of course I only had it for a week or so. But if anything changes I will come back and post any changes.
