I liked that the screw head is recessed inside the holder. The shape and size made it adaptable to a number of different angles where I needed a hook(s) for lights. They are strong and solid. They hold the wires securely even in our windy area. They look nice and sophisticated. I really liked these. However, be aware that the 'hook' part where you slip the wire into the holder is very tight. I had trouble prying it open far enough to slip the Christmas light string through it. I finally resorted to a screwdriver to pry it open far enough to slip the wire into the holder. That and the price garnered the 3 star rating, otherwise I would have given it a 4 or 5 star. I did reorder it, reluctantly, because of the price more than anything else.
