I've waited almost a year to write this review mainly because I simply forgot, but also because there was nothing spectacular good or bad I could say about the product until now.This mat is enormous. It's kinda soft feel allows me hours of usage with no pain whatsoever. It cleans up pretty easily.I have a glass desktop and it tends to slide a bit ( 1/8 - 1/4" ) from day to day so i'm constantly "fiddling" with it to keep it in position.I have my forearms on the front of the mat while my keyboard is back about 3" from the edge of the desk. ( sorry for messy desk & cruddy quality) . And that works really well, and has held up great UNTIL NOW!.about 45-60 days ago I started noticing a curling left to right ( like waves ) along the edge I rest my arms on and slide my mouse around.Along with that I noticed that the edge where my mouse is not only was curling but the layers were separating! I contacted the manufacturer because although it was out of return/replacement period with amazon it was under warranty ( 12mo ) .I started having some form of a reaction to the layer separation and when I contacted perrix all they did was send me a MDS. This of course was of very little help and when I explained to them I needed it replaced their statement to me was I didn't buy it from them so to talk to amazon!amz of course ( and rightly so, ) said to contact perrix.I really debated wether to even give it 3 stars as perrix clearly doesn't stand behind its warranty. But if I'm only rating the mat itself then "overall" it does what it says it does. The layer separation and curling prevents it from getting anything higher then the 3* I'm giving it.
