Summary KVM does NOT work reliably. Tested with two Dell computers. VGA switches with only a few seconds of delay and a few seconds of video glitches. However, USB was very, very unreliable - 10-15 seconds of lag, and even after pressing a button there was a 5-10 second lag. abominable.
