Ordered for my daughter for a Halloween party. She is wearing size 16 jeans and they fit perfectly leaving enough room. The elastic waistband is covered with a satin fabric on both sides. The tutu was flattened in the mailer and I was a little concerned that it wasn't very firm. We opened the package and gave it a shake and the three layers of tulle laid up beautifully. This is a tutu skirt that covers the buttocks unlike some tutus which are fluffy layers just around the waist. After the Halloween party, the tutu was in good condition, no scuffs or scuffs.
