Review on 17638 Thrush Performance Exhaust Muffler with Welded Design by Quartreal Eagleman

We installed this muffler on our 1999 Grand Am Resto mod and it sounds fantastic! At idle, this muffler emits a very deep rumble. At speed, this muffler is quite loud. At Grand Am, the maximum "resonance" of the sound is about 45 miles per hour. Don't expect heart-to-heart conversations as you cruise down the street! I recently installed a Thrush "turbo muffler" on another car and this welded muffler easily makes twice the noise. This is a cross muffler with one inlet and two outlets. This makes it easy to get a working "dual exhaust" behind the axle in any car that leaves the factory with a muffler mounted on the rear of the car. If you have decent headphones or a speaker system with a subwoofer, the attached video will give you a good idea of the sound.
