Review on Nikon 50mm f/1.8D Lens: Perfect for Nikon DSLR Cameras! by Anastazja Adziarejka ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

- An exceptional lens for day-to-day use with a full-frame camera (FX), which causes the camera to become smaller, lighter, and more handy; as a result, you end up carrying it around with you more frequently. - Clarity may be achieved at an aperture of f/2.2; at f/5.6, the clarity is so high that it appears as though a portion of the world has been compressed into the scanner. At an aperture of f/1.8, the clarity is the same but in the DX region. Beyond f/16, contrast and saturation begin to decrease; yet, it is possible to shoot at f/22 under exceptional and unusual circumstances. The autofocus on the D700 is really brisk and does NOT fail in any lighting conditions. Before that, I also felt that it was not clear up to f/2.8 - it turned out to be clear, I simply had to reset the front focus;) My copy turned out to have a front focus of 12, and it was rectified in the camera. - Focal length considerations for FX! equipment is performing at its peak potential for 80% of shots. Due to the fact that the lens produces images that are mathematically accurate, it is the most practical choice for shooting panoramas and technical subjects (if you need a wider angle, then several frames are taken like a fan and then stitched at home through hugin in half a minute) There is not a lens hood included, and one is not required. Because the lens is recessed, it is not essential to carry it around or wear it at all times. chromatic aberrations: in certain circumstances, it is possible to assume that there are none. - distortion, we are able to make the assumption that there is not. - The colors and contrast are muted, and the overall effect is gentler than in 1.8G - bokeh - most likely there are nuts, but you can't see them anywhere))) If an aspherical lens could have been crammed inside it like in the 1.8G, then it's likely that no one would have purchased any other lenses.

Pros
  • Aperture, clarity, color reproduction, autofocus, weight, and size are some of the important considerations.
Cons
  • The autofocus feature will only function on cameras that require a screwdriver (camera built-in motor)
